Course Description

  • develop skills and practical experience in delivering Drama lessons and managing a Drama classroom for highly effective motivation and deep learning
  • learn to introduce mime, voice, self devised play making and use of scripts imaginatively and engagingly
  • learn how to effectively introduce improvisation and run a successful Theatre Sports Competition
  • learn Laban Attributes and other ways of developing a character
  • learn how to train students to create an effective and powerful monologue
  • acquire teaching strategies to improve student engagement and produce quality work in Drama 
  • learn to capture and motivate your class towards a positive attitude to Drama
  • learn to effectively plan lessons and socially engineer your class to prevent problems and inspire fun
